It was 2009-2009.


Few hours ago.........


Yes it was special because it was treat giving day from me, Doel, Pradnya and Mehul. People came from Thane,Borivali,Charni Road,Dahisar,Andheri,Powai,Ghansoli,Belapur,jogeshwari to have FUN and enjoy the treat. It was a sunny bright day.
Are lekin treat kis baat ki ye to bataya hi nahi.

Few days back...

3rd September, 2009
It was my (Sagar's) birthday. My day started at 12 mindnight with the conference where my friends wished me. In office they have decorated my new desk. I was very happy. Nobody had ever celebrated my birthday in such a manner. we enjoyed alot that day. We cut cake, we ate cake, I ate kicks also. I wont forget Ankit's kick. Wait Ankit tera bhi din ayega. That was the day of Ganesh Visarjan. Ankit ki Krupa se we got Lalbagh ka Raja's darshan. For more details on this worderful day please read previous posts by Abhishek and Vatsav.

8th September, 2009

It was Pradnya's birthday. I wished her that day. I couldn't join the conference. :(
Pradnya stays at Belapur. It was not possible for all FIRM associates to go there, as we have our working till 8.30. So it was decided that she will come here in Powai to celebrate her birthday. We cut the cake and had dinner at Great Punjab (Ankit's favourite restaurant). Actually that was Pradnya's treat but as usual we were greedy and wanted more.

11th September,2009

It was Doel's birthday. We have wished her in very very special way. I will never forget the way we wished her. We went to her place at 12.00 midnight to wish her. She got shocked and could not recover from it for the next whole day. We also decorated her desk. Actually I was late so couldn't decorate it. We cut cake at her place and those candles were amazing. As usual I recorded the complete candle blowing ceremony. Here I request Abhishek to upload the video. Doel left the office early that day as she wanted to give treat to her roommates.

14th September,2009

It was Mehul's birthday. Nobody was knowing that it was his birthday that day. He only misguided us and told that his birthday is on 17th September. But we found out that it was his birthday. we wished him but he doesn't wanted to disclose it to whole ODC. We still got Mehul to canteen and cut the cake for him. He left home early that day as his parents were waiting for him for his birthday celebrations.

D Day !!!

So people ready for a treat day. Let us see what happens that day.

20-09-2009 12.00 Noon

It was planned to meet at Phoenix mall at 2.00 pm. Me and Pradnya were ready at 12.30pm but then got call from Jajoo . He aked me to wait for Monica as she just woke up. I called her, she said I just woke up and having tea. I asked her why didnt she wake up early as she was knowing the plan. She replied that she didn't put an alarm and it was a nice wheather outside. So she couldn't woke up early. By the way that was one of the hottest day in Mumbai. But still Monica said so, that was a NICE wheather. Then she said she will be ready by 1.15pm. Me and Pradnya were waiting at Thane station till 1.30pm still she didnt call me. Then I call her, she said she will be late and asked us to leave.

We left for Phoenix mall, Dadar. We reached there at 2.30pm. Jajoo and Manu had already reached there. They were looking for camera for Jajoo. Nobody reached till 3.30pm. Then one by one all came. Doel, Monica, Ankit, Vishal, Abhishek and Swastika. By the time it was 4.00pm. That was the begining of FLOP SHOW.

Nobody had any idea how boaring day it gonna be.

As Monica was hungry all girls went to McD to give her company.
Everyone was excited that they will do bowling, as last season of bowling was very very interesting. We had blast that day. No need to tell the significance of that day. But I will remember that day becasuse I was the winner in BOWLING. This time I was overexcited and overconfident that I can beat anybody, which is not the case. So we (Manu, Jajoo, Abhishek and me) went to book the slot for bowling. As we reached there, we saw a big gate with same big sized lock closing it. We thought we might have came to the wrong place. We enquired and we came to know that it was closed and closed means closed forever.

We were looking at each other with smile on face. Nobody had ever thought of this situation. But we have to face it. Nobody had any backup plans. So we went to Croma, without worrying about the further plans. I was thinking Jajoo and Abhishek is there no so no need to worry they will come up with something. Manu was busy in enquiring about LCD. So he was not concern about the plan. Abhishek thought everytime I plan and these people enjoy and I never get appreciation for it. This time let them do what they plan. So Abhishek was not thinking of anything else. This time he was not alone. This time Swastika was with him and for the first time I was not hearing any good things about Manu from Abhishek. Jajoo was more concern about the camera and maximum DISCOUNT that he can get on the camera. He was so busy in calculating discounts and all that he forget about his frined Mehul. He has not conculted him. We have some beliefs in our group. One of that is whenver we have buy or want ot have info about any of the electronics stuff we shold consult Mehul. That day Jajoo broke that belief and forgot his friend just for the sake of money. Shame on you Jajoo.

That was the end of Part 2 of Flop show. Lots more to come.

As everything was going wrong, we came to know that the Orphanage where we planned to visit also needs prior appointment. So in short we were planless that time. Everyone was blank. Meanwhile Jajoo bought the Camera. It was Cannon 10 MP, Superb camera. Monica also bought headphones iBall wala.

When Mehul came he came to know that Jajoo had bought Cannon wala Camera for 16000/-. He was speechless and shocked, he was smiling but we know he was hurt.

Now he turned to Monica, according to Mehul the headphones she bought are very cheap in quality and will not be usable after 1 year. Are Mehul ye kya kar diya kispe comment mara, ab to firing hogi. Monica replied, (I think she was hurt) with anger, "Ek sal tak kisko use karne ka hai". Phir kisiki majal jo usko answer karta. Everyone was silent.

That is the only good thing happened on that evening. But still after this interval flop show continued...


After so many arguments and clashes we planned to move to Worli-Seaface to hang out there. I think Jajoo was still thinkin of Juhu Beach. Monica rejected the choice of Juhu beach because according to her it is very dirty beach. Vatsav asked her when did you visit the beach she said when she was in standard 7th, 10 years back. That time Vatsav was flat, he was about to fall down. But as he used be in TOUCH with Monica like us, he gathered himself. Here a question came into my mind who is great Monica (who can reply to anything that comes to her) or the Vatsav (who can servive after that bouncer from Monica),

I think both. If I take anybody's name other will kill me. So just wanted to tell that we almost had a fight on deciding the place. Swastika and Vishal who were the debutant in our group might be thinking only one place (HOME SWEET HOME). But as they were successful in keeping good gesture, we thought that thay are enjoying the evening. Later me and Pradnya had fight, she wanted to go home (PUNE) that day. I made her stay here, I told her we will have (FUN ??).

So we reached worli-seaface where we had chocolates,tea,sandwich and sat on a katta facing sea. We clicked some snaps there. We had some chat there. We means, I was chatting with Pradnya, Manu was busy in clicking pics, Jajoo and Abhishek was posing for pics. Swastika was in deep thinking that why she is there. Ankit was busy with Vishal. Monica was shouting, "Please mera solo pic lo na". But Manu was busy shooting Abhishek. Doel was talking to her Bhaiyya and Bhabhi. Till the end Doel was talking on cell and while leaving she said "Accha tha na sea-face". Vatsav was thinking, "How to avoid these people from next time". Mehul was thinking "Kya faltoo me time khoti kiya achha khasa ghar pe TV dekh raha tha".

It was around 8 in the night. i.e

A big question arises.

WHERE WE SHOULD HAVE DINNER TODAY ? ? ?

There also lots of discussions and no result. By the way, dont forget it was treat giving day. It was supposed to be most amazing day. People were suggesting names of almost all types of restaurants ranging from 2-3 starts to Pav-Bhaji center. Suddenly idea clicked into Abhishek's mind, and he called Just Dial. He got list of hotels but no use. Meanwhile Monica was using her own contacts, might be she was asking to her other group (Hitesh) about the hotels. Finally she

only suggestedSUJATA at Dadar.

I was asking people how much will be the rates at Rajdhani, but nobody paid attention to me as it was out of scope. I kept silent.

Aabhishek was asking everyone whether we should go to Bhagat Tarachand or Bombay Blues. He was asking everyone to choose one of his fingers which he has alloted for the two hotels. Nobody hold his fingers. He almost finalized that we were going to one of these hotels. But somebody said we wont get normal Punjabi food in either of the hotels. So that thing got cancelled, Abhishek went to backfoot and kept silent like me.

Meanwhile me and Abhishek (who were on backfoot) were thinking of going to Sports Bar but Abhishek said others wont feel comfortable there so we scraped that plan too. Abhishek is so caring.

Finally everyone agreed to SUJATA and started towards Dadar. After so much efforts we found SUJATA but we came to know that SUJATA is also involved in conspiracy. I think that day whole world conspire to make our outing a BIG FLOP SHOW and SUJATA is no exception to it.
As we need to feed our stomachs we found another hetel, hotel ANURADHA. We had dinner there, thank god food was good and the environment there was very peaceful,calm and serene. Very peaceful place right ? ?

Finally we had dinner, but what you are thinking is not done yet.

TREAT FROM ALL IS STILL PENDING.....

In short the day was waste.

If you are thinking that was the end of flop show then you are wrong.


We all reach to Dadar station. From there western wale went to west line and Me, Vatsav, Monica and Pradnya came to central line. Me and Pradnya got into a local where we almost got crushed. We missed Monica and Vatsav. That was a panic situation. Vatsav and Monica were still on platform. It was almost impossible to get out of the train at Thane. In that Pradnya was wearing gold chain and one passenger in train keep on telling us take care of your chain and that too he was shouting so people come to know that somebody is having gold chain. Oh god that was tremendous. I was happy , happy because we servived.

At the end of the day when I was sleeping I thought that what we have achieved today is SERVIVAL and a big list of DO's and DONT'S.

Do's
1. Do have a backup plan
2. Do have Monica in the trip so you wont get boared
3. Do buy something like Jadoo did.
4. Do bowling at your nearest place.

Dont's
1. Dont go to malls anymore.
